I worked for a place once that got sued by the BSA for license violations; it was a long, extended, extremely agrravating 2.5 yrs ... IIRC, the BSA's charges are/were 3x *retail* list price (not upgrade price) of each of the unlicensed copies of software. So, for example, if you had 3 unlicensed copies of MS Office XP Pro, you'd pay 9 x $579 for those 3 copies. Trust me, that can add up quickly ... -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (MingW32) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAjzG1zIACgkQmrQe9lqlvN9Z8QCdH14CpaXWBbYg2vZS9jHdwyy6 mmsAn3bMsfS3pheSyZ7htkbFmQmzVkNu =bj5q -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
