There's a good brick-oven pizza place at 36th and Chestnut we've gone to after phl.pm meetings a few times. It's quiet, has a full bar, and has been able to accommodate 10-15 of us without too much difficulty. Sorry, it's fairly new so I forget the name. And then across the street from there is Shula's 2. They specialize in steaks but they've also got burgers, salads, etc. Also lots and lots of tv's which will be showing whatever sporting event happens to be on that night. It's a little on the noisy side, but they do have a lot of seating and could handle whatever crowd showed up. Further west is Abner's cheesesteaks at 38th and Chestnut, and Cavanaugh's at 39th and Chestnut. Cavanaugh's has decent bar food and also has a great beer selection. I seem to recall driving by a nice-looking new pub at around 43rd and Walnut last week. Anyone know if it's any good? Walt Attachment:
