Considering these arguments, I think it would be nice to have the
November presentation on "Kylix:  Visual Pascal" (or related topic).
It will bring a new group of developers (and a new set of ideas to) to
our meeting which could prove ... interesting and positive.

Could the volunteer contact Darxus and arrange this ... if they are
still interested after Wednesday's cool reception.
