[PLUG] Uninstalling Linux

A newbie asks:
I need to uninstall linux from my computer. I have windows 98 running on one partition, caldera openlinux 2.4 on the other. I created these partitions using Partition Magic.

I went to Caldera's website for instructions and was told to "root run lilo -u." Frankly, I am not sure how to do that since I went to the terminal typed "run lilo -u" and was told there was no run command.

Also, what do I do after run lilo -u. Can I use Partition Magic to then erase the Linux partition entirely. Do I have to rewrite the boot loader in anyway?

My goal is NOT to have to erase the Windows partition.

Thanks so much for your help and this website!
