re: dns/ppp problem
lost your original post, but seems to me
you are trying to run a caching nameserver
(bind serves localhost only). if this is
the case then forcing bind to listen
to localhost (127.0.0.1) only could solve
the "ordering" problem--and then configuring
the resolver at /etc/resolv.conf to point
to 127.0.0.1....not that i tried that.
Just an idea anyway.
