Thanks, I've had 2 drives like that. What you want is a plextor. Preferably one with burn proof, which will help with the coaster problems. My plexwriter is fairly old, but I've never had a problem with underruns. The new models have larger buffers, and that whole burn proof thing... I haven't tried their IDE drives, but I highly recommend the brand. If I upgrade any time soon, it'll be another plexwriter. But dont take my word for it. Check out a few reviews.
