What is the model of the camera you're using?


Ancient Connectix Parallel Color QuickCam.


I haven't received the QuickCam from ebay yet so I tried this USB camera: http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=285905

It works after doing "/sbin/modprobe ibmcam" and running xawtv. The camera is sold under the CompUSA brand, manufactured by Xirlink, which seems to be identical to an IBM branded camera, but this one is only $15 after a $5 instant rebate.
