Mr. List,
I'm sure your posts are quite interesting, on-topic, and relevant,
but I haven't read any them. And, I doubt I'm alone. I imagine
that very few of the readers of this list have seen your content.
You see Mr. List, your email software is sending messages in a form
called "HTML", but many of the readers on this list use "text based"
mail software which is unable to interpret your postings. So while
they look all spiffy-cheerio to you, many people see only gibber-
jabber and press delete without reading the messages.
Heavens for Betsy! So sorry!
In order that you get the most enjoyment from this list,
2 suggestions come to mind:
consult the documentation for your software, you can probably
configure it to send "plain text"
re-read the list FAQ, at http://www.phillylinux.org/faq.html
it is a thrilling read. filled with such exciting topics as
HTML email, attachments, signature etiquette, and so on...
