What is your equipment? What is your current > software? Thanks for your questions. The purpose is to archive family and insurance documentation snapshots from a camcorder, a Panasonic DV-200. In addition to the tape, it has a snapshot capacity of 12. The software is the transfer software which ships with the camera, and runs under MSWindows. After the transfer, the files move over to a Linux box, never to see Win again.
