Um... I beg to differ. My service is Speakeasy through Covad and
they are *definitely* expanding their business in the Philadelphia
area.

Covad's business wing filing Chapter 11 had nearly no effect on
Covad's networking wing continuing to do business. There was a
purposeful split in the company between the parts that were making
money (DSL provisioning) and the parts that weren't (ISP, some
extraneous cruft). The former's fine, the latter's in Chapter 11
court.
