My service is Speakeasy through Covad and they are *definitely* expanding their business in the Philadelphia area. Covad's business wing filing Chapter 11 had nearly no effect on Covad's networking wing continuing to do business. There was a purposeful split in the company between the parts that were making money (DSL provisioning) and the parts that weren't (ISP, some extraneous cruft).
