[PLUG] OT: Silly Peeves

In other words, he's ignoring the people who do use text-based e-mail clients because it's easier that way. Or he doesn't know how to make the change.

This one guy has a URL in his signature with the slashes reversed. "http:\\" instead of "http://";. Instead of thanking me for pointed that out, he justified it by stating that it works for /him/ because he has the latest software, the newest Internet Explorer. OK, IE does *correct* the slashes before calling the site, and Mozilla for Windows will do the same, but, come on, fix the stinking slashes!

our email admin won't make the formatting change for 1 user. His response...nobody uses a text based email client :-)
