Nope.  That's the funny thing.  The install went fine in GUI mode.

But the darn thing won't do more than 640x480.

This was pretty well documented when Googled appropriately.

Took the Red Hat defaults.  Doesn't matter.  The install wasn't b0rked. 
 Dell shipped a video chipset that wasn't yet supported by XFree86.

Yep.  I'm not holding any ire towards Red Hat or Linux in general.  But 
I do place blame on Dell for shipping hardware that is only supported 
under MS.
