[PLUG] whois results don't show contact info

When I registered my .com I was asked questions about the administrative
contact, etc which is usually revealed in the whois lookup.
However a whois on mediaresearch.org doesn't show any information from my
debian box:

But using this:
http://www.whois.sc/MEDIARESEARCH.ORG I get the stuff at the end of the
email.
Does this mean that I don't have to provide any information in the future,
and I can not get in trouble? Or does this rule apply to only certain
organizations?
