Hi if you really want to do this (read other posters warnings also), if you have a newer tcp wrappers (RedHat 7.0 & above): The directory to activate this is in /etc/xinetd.d/ the files are ipop3 and imap (or similar). You'll find a line there that says "disable", put a value of "no". and restart xinetd. For other (older) style tcp wrapers the file is /etc/inetd.conf. consider separating your actuall shell account and your mail account---I put a shell of /sbin/nologin for pop-only accounts and it works for me. jondz / e.pike On Mon, 2003-04-28 at 14:33, Dan Roberts wrote: > > > > > hey all.
