If that is the case, this $ 0.28 per song is only a realistic
approximation for very very few CDs, probably the majority of which would
be greatest hits compilations. (and maybe not even then :-) )

$18 for a non-top 40 hit CD these days is just too much, especially for
newer artists. Hell, even for the established artists. :-) And I must have
300 or more purchased CDs in my collection.
