Hello, I am very excited about LinuxChix starting in Philadelphia. This by no means makes me disregard PLUG -- the more resources the better! I just think it's important to keep in mind that some women can be intimidated by the very male dominated tech world, and having an organization that has a little bit of a different energy is very positive. As long as the organization doesn't set out to be separatist, I don't see how its existence could be anything other than beneficial for PLUG. kristina On Tue, 2003-05-13 at 10:55, Michael Leone wrote: > Samantha said: > > For those of you with words of encouragement...thanks. > > I have no problem with it. Hell, anyone can come to PLUG, Linux user or not. _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
