I don't care about the mouse pads (serial console, baaaaaaabyyyyyyy).

But they are unobtanium. I just want to try to make sure they get either used or put back into circulation rather than tossed in the trash.

Surely. I'm just suggesting that I'd be a good home for the SPARC machines, but a bad home for optical mouse pads. I wouldn't throw them out, but I doubt I'd have any use for them.
