[PLUG] diskless linux

Greetings,

I was hoping to get feedback from linux experts particulary those of you who
have experience with linux clusters. My question is regarding hard drives. Is
it wise building a cluster with diskless nodes? Each nodes loads a kernel from
a drive and does a bootp or similar ip acquirement, etc.

I understand linux requires a physical space for memory swapping even with a
large memory bank (2 Gb). Can this be avoided?

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks, jano
