> I would suggest watching the logs when you plug in one of the devices and see I am sure this question will let you all in on how little I know about linux and that's fine. What logs? I have had similar problems trying to get a redhat 9.0 machine to 'see' a small mp3 player's 'memory-space'. I looked through /proc and found something about a usb/uhci/raid device but I could never mount it. on the other hand when I plug in my digital camera the system mounts it automatically (I was very impressed). Can anyone point me to what process that is? I am sure that is what needs tuning. -Douglas _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
