Re: [PLUG] cable modem and MAC

I guess I would try switching off the power for at least 15 minutes.

I have a Motorola SURFboard SB5100. I was more concerned about DOCSIS, if that matters. I was looking at the Lynksys EtherFast BEFCMU10 which does DOCSIS 1.0, upgradable to 1.1. The Motorola claimed to go up to DOCSIS 2.0. Does that really matter? I hope I didn't buy (free after rebate) the lesser of the two.

I really wanted a modem that could also do DSL, but I guess I can't get everything I want for free!
