Not sure about the keyboard, without knowing more. it's also possible that the mouse isn't playing nicely with being shared by the console and the X server. if that's the case, you could try disabling gpm and restarting x, to see if that helps at all. if that is the case, you should set up X to use the gpm daemon's repeater instead of the mouse device (/dev/gpmdata) if you want both console and X use of your mouse. don't know why your keyboard wouldn't work in X though, i'd take a look at /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 and /var/log/XFree86.0.log for any clues. sean Attachment:
