[PLUG] VPN Client For Linux

Hello List,

Does any one know how to configure linux so that it can act as a vpn 
client. I have a feeling that this has to do something with IP Tables,? 
but yet, I am not very much sure, or I am looking for something very 
simple solution. Can anybody help?
