desktop to the mass market Ernest N. Prabhakar, Ph.D., Apple Computer

Dr. Ernest Prabhakar is the Product Manager for UNIX & Open Source at
Apple Computer.  He was instrumental in Apple becoming the first major
computer company to adopt open source as the foundation of its
operating system strategy.  He will be sharing about the revolutionary
changes that have taken place at Apple over the last five years,
particularly with regards to adopting open source and open standards
and establishing Mac OS X as the leading UNIX-based desktop.
