My two cents are this. I also depends on how far you are from the CO. The advertising for DSL never tells you that. I live in Philadelphia and I am 22000 from the CO. No luck for me at all Verizon said no. I used to have iDSL 128K. So cable was and is still my only answer to broadband in my area.
