The other thing is the idea of healthy competition to encourage Comcast 
to either lower the cost of cable modem or offer price/service tiers.  
For example, a slower cable connection to keep the cost down for people 
who do not subscribe to cable TV.  How about a 768k cable connection for 
less than the cost of DSL?
