This might > not be it, but Knoppix-STD is nice. STD stands for security tools distro. I've not heard of Knoppix-STD but I tried booting with vanilla Knoppix. The box has a Compaq/HP SCSI RAID array that requires a CCISS driver. Knoppix does not have it by default. Thanks! Google-ing for Knoppix-STD now!
