Thanks for the pointer, this seems to have moved me in the right
direction - I've googled to find a few hints that say I ought to be
using a radeon rather than ati driver for my ATI Radeon 7500 card,
(which I recall using for gentoo). There isn't a radeon option via
dpkg-reconfigure - Anyone have a sense of how one might find / build
such a driver for debian testing? (I do prefer using apt tools when
possible).
