Most of the ppl I know who bothered to do dual boot on their mac's have
ended up never leaving os x and eventually removing linux from their mac's.
With fink pretty much most linux software is just an apt-get away.
Course most software I use have native packages. If you are just going for
the pb to only use linux on, I'd consider a cheap intel laptop. I don't
think all the hardware is supported under linux (namely the airport extreme
card)
just my 2 cents.
