Yes, if you dial-in to a POP someplace, you will normally get the data associated with that POP, which may not relate to your geographic location at all. However, since one normally authenticates with the POP server, the POP server knows your info and communicates that to Akami. However, if you are on the road and dial-in to your home POP, the it is obviously going to be wrong. The complete problem is not unlike that related to Enhanced 911 Services and both Cell-phones and now VoIP service.
