Agreed. In my case I was pissed because I dont have any BNC cables or connectors. The other thing we found out was the line was never tested in the first place. When Verizon was onsite, they were suppose to call the field office, make the connect to MCI, then the onsite tech was to test the line. Well, the tech didn't feel like waiting to get MCI on the line, so he took off, and never tested it. Thats why Verizon didn't want to send out another tech, because they thought it was already tested, I had to convince them that the tech may have "logged" his time as testing, but he actually didn't do anything. That plus a sales rep call, yada yada. I will say though, by far, the best service I have dealt with is Yipes. They're network is pure fiber ethernet - to your door. If your lucky and they have lines in your area, its not even that expensive. Last job we were paying $4000/month for 10Mbit (scalable to 100Mbit with a phone call). If Yipes has a 2 second blip, they actually call/email you right away. With MCI and ATT, if they have a blip, they will actually forge their mrtg graphs to cover it up. (And Yes, I have proof of this!) Yipes only relies on Verizon for ground rights when they run the demark line, and they oversee everything onsite. -john On Tue, 5 Jul 2005, Dan Goodman wrote: > John Von Essen wrote: > > > ...
