Re: [PLUG] Kubuntu and trashed passwords

You can probably fix whatever happened using kcontrol, clicking administrator mode, and entering your user password when prompted.

But how do I get to kcontrol if I cannot login, under any user? It couldn't be as simple as using a live cd to delete some file, could it?

Just curious, why did you *choose* not to upgrade KDE?

Well, I was still trying to get used to kubuntu and set the machine up before I worried about upgrading KDE. (Wanted to be sure I liked the foundation before I worried about replacing the siding). It's not like it was an option on install.
