[PLUG] airport extreme on powerbook with yellow dog

I recently set up my apple powerbook as a dual boot system with OSX and Yellow Dog Linux.  I read that yellow dog 4.1 includes a beta driver for the airport extreme wireless, but I am unsure of how to configure this on my machine.  Has anyone on this list gotten the built in airport extreme to work with Yellow Dog, or any linux for that matter?  The machine is a 2004 powerbook.  I know that the manufacturer of these airport extreme cards has not yet released a linux driver, but this talk of a beta driver makes me think that maybe I can get this working.
