Re: [PLUG] fs -3 Compaq Proliant 3000s-update

In addition to the following, I am including:

4 x 4.3GB SCSI drives
1 9.1 GB SCSI drive
All drives in all servers are UltraWide SCA drives, they are in the older Compaq hot-swappable trays (tan in color with the burgundy thumb press things)

Thanks,

Ben

I have 3 Compaq Proliant 3000 servers that I am parting with. Machine 1
Dual Pentium II 300Mhz processors
LCD panel does not work
6 x 9.1GB SCSI drives
16MB of RAM(???)
Dual Power Supplies
Compaq Smart Array 2 RAID controller
IDE CDROM
floppy drive

Machine 2
Dual Pentium II 300Mhz processors (One processor fails at boot)
3x 9.1GbSCSI drives
16MB of RAM
Dual Power Supplies
Compaq Smart Array 2 RAID controller
IDE CDROM
floppy drive

Machine 3
Dual Pentium II 300Mhz processors
No drives
No RAM
Dual Power Supplies
Compaq Smart Array 2 RAID controller
IDE CDROM
floppy drive

These servers need to have the Compaq Setup Partition, System Partition, Array utilities and a bunch of other crap installed to work properly. They do boot, but fail due to missing system partitions and prompts to configure logigal drives and RAID. There is in fact RAM installed in all of the machines, but the machines do not see all of it. There are 2 DIMMS installed on each motherboard and then at least 4 DIMMS on a riser card in a slot next to the processors.

I am asking $75.00 for everything, but the price is definitely negotiable. These are very heavy, even the storage array with no drives is heavy.

Also,
1 Compaq Storage UNIT EU
12 drive bays (no drives)
$5.00

Pickup only. If interested, e-mail me.

Thanks,

Ben
