That's a question I hadn't thought of.  I originally planned to use only the 
router and have the other machines only in client roles.  Now that you 
mention it, I was relying on the Linux firewall to protect the 
Samba-connected winpc as well (in addition to ZoneAlarm).  I understand that 
these routers/gateways have a firewall built in as well.  Do I need so many 
belts and suspenders?
