Hi Sometime back I was working in NYC and traveling from Cornwell heights (which is a train station close to Philly ) in Amtrak. The train journey is very pleasant. You can read, sleep or work through verizon(EV-DO) wireless connection. The only downside is the cost of the ticket which is pretty much expensive ($1000 per a month).
