Personal mail, web, etc. Important, but not critical or career threatening. :-)

It's already in a 1U Dell PE 350.

True, but I have to have two links anyway, so this would be "in addition to," not "instead of"...

I am considering it, and I've added you to my list of colos to think about. My main concern is that this is *also* my local IMAP server, and I like IMAP at LAN speeds and I'm not sure I want to give that up. I also don't feel that much like messing with any of the various methods I'd need to use to encrypt said IMAP connections. And I'm enough of a control freak to like having the server sitting 10' from me.

I'd considered a colo'd virtual server (my latest uptime reads load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00 :) which is cheaper that hosting the physical box but still has the same issue, plus new ones.

Anyway, this is good info to have, so thanks for the reply, JP ----------------------------|:::======|------------------------------- JP Vossen, CISSP |:::======| jp{at}jpsdomain{dot}org My Account, My Opinions |=========| http://www.jpsdomain.org/ ----------------------------|=========|------------------------------- Microsoft has single-handedly nullified Moore's Law.
