Hi All,

According to resolv.conf(5)

The  search keyword of a system's resolv.conf file can be overridden on
a per-process basis by setting the environment variable ``LOCALDOMAIN''
to a space-separated list of search domains.

Currently, I have over 15 search domains, and I would like to use this local variable. After I set it, I am still unable to rsolve to the hostname. I have to use the FDQN. Is there anthing I am missing?

Do I need to remove all entries in /etc/resolv.conf, and just have the LOCALDOMAIN variable set?
