Not certain, but I was molded as an "IBMer", we have the mentality that we invented virtulization, sliced bread :-)

While looking at this, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtualization, seems like we need to really define "virtualization" :-(

[KSB] I think the first virtualization to be available for production
use may have been from ICL (British computer company, eventually
bought by Fujitsu) in their 2900 series with the George operating
system in the early 1970s.  But IBM was also out around that time with
VM/370.  Anyone remember for sure?
