we switched from voicepulse to bandwidth on someone's recommendation. so far it's been OK. we use trixbox with polycom 501 phones. this is important. we used crappy phones before and there was a bug difference in quality just by plugging the new ones in. you'll want a QoS router like m0n0wall and a vlan capable switch.

Has anyone on the list setup a pbx through asterisk?  If so, could you give me a rundown on what hardware you used and what sip upstream providers are on the top tier?
