Re: [PLUG] Asterisk setup

We left trixbox a few months back.
Noticed their system kept phoning home ...
whats worse is the information it was sending...

We left them - wonder if they fixed it...
Now using PBX in a flash and happy with it...

we switched from voicepulse to bandwidth on someone's recommendation. so far it's been OK. we use trixbox with polycom 501 phones. this is important. we used crappy phones before and there was a bug difference in quality just by plugging the new ones in. you'll want a QoS router like m0n0wall and a vlan capable switch.

Subject: [PLUG] Asterisk setup

Has anyone on the list setup a pbx through asterisk?  If so, could you give me a rundown on what hardware you used and what sip upstream providers are on the top tier?
