Yes, I primarily use sendmail.mc (the macro file which gets run through m4 to create sendmail.cf) now, and it's much simpler and easier. For some non-routine hacking I still need to pick up the Sendmail book and analyze some variables, but that's rare and only in the case of maintaining someone *else's* sendmail configuration.
