It depends on what you mean by "pretty much work".  While it certainly does 
display an image and presumably do 3D, it has serious problems with monitor 
auto-detection, output switching, and other tasks you might want a laptop to 
do.  Also, while it's probably not an issue for most, it interacts very badly 
with Crossover/wine.
