Well, there's always Google Groups... <ducks>

I've been using eternal-september.org (was motzarella.org until
2009-07-01) since 2008-12-20 when I dropped my Speakeasy line. I very
rarely use it, and even then only for R.H.F, and so forth. It's text-only.

I was going to say it has been working fine, and that's more-or-less
true, but again I rarely use it. And when I just went to try it, all my
subscripted groups were gone (all 5-7 of them). But that might be a
side-effect of switching domain names or just a Thunderbird thing, so
I'm not sure it counts.

It's Usenet, it's free, it more-or-less works...

Later,
JP

"Microsoft Tax" = the additional hardware & yearly fees for the add-on
software required to protect Windows from its own poorly designed and
implemented self, while the overhead incidentally flattens Moore's Law.
