Sound quality pretty good. Rates for landline connections seem fair. Some negative: Processor usage seems very high to me (I can no longer run it on my 700Mhz machine). (But somehow it runs great on hand held devices... why can't I get one of those apps for my computer). My brief research did not turn up any simple solution to getting a VOIP box and hooking to an internal POTS system (like in a house), though I have seen some things that *sort of* do that. This is something I should look into again.
