Yup, Netflix runs on chromebooks too, as long as you don't flip the developer switch that gives you root access to it. However, I do take objection to the earlier comment about Android having as much in common with Linux as OSX does with FreeBSD. Android has as much in common with Linux as Ubuntu does - they share exactly one component in common, and that is Linux. :) A better analogy would be that Android has as much in common with the GNU userspace as OSX does with FreeBSD. Another valid one would be that Android has as much in common with Linux as OSX does with Mach. All linux does is interface with hardware, set up a very fancy system call interface for managing processes, and launch a single process. And as those in PLUG North saw this week, a Solaris system with a Gentoo userspace seems fairly "Linux-like" despite not having a drop of Linux on it. The userspace is what we all interact with on a daily basis, and the term Linux has just become synonymous.
