Lee, You may want to refer to the links below for some troubleshooting ideas. I know I was having a problem with a pay as you go VOIP provider and at the time he ran me through a traceroute which determined what was happenning. I looked at blocked ports for Verizon and Comcast and at least as far as they admit only nusance ports are blocked mostly associated with mail.
