Re: [PLUG] SIP(VOIP) inbound suddenly fails on Verizon Business FiOS

All my inbound FIOS lines have quit working.

I have Verizon FIOS, not using any Verizon router, just my Linux firewall
and Asterisk box at internal IP 10.24.1.5
[...]

Not VoIP related, but my FiOS was out from 7 or 8 AM to about 2:40 today, first time it's ever been out for more than a few minutes since 2006. Things are still bouncing a bit even now. And since we're only a couple of miles from each other...

I heard on KYW last night about various storm (Chesco) and back-hoe (Philly) related FiOS problems as well.

So... Storm/back-hoe/Version network shakiness?

Later,
JP

"Microsoft Tax" = the additional hardware & yearly fees for the add-on
software required to protect Windows from its own poorly designed and
implemented self, while the overhead incidentally flattens Moore's Law.
