The main one I care about is the shortcut that is the equivalent of
the Gmail archive function - removes it from the inbox without
deleting it.  Whether that means moving it to a designated folder, or
manipulating tags, that is all that matters.  I'd prefer a single
keystroke to do this, ideally with no modifiers.  However, I can live
with just about anything.

I don't care much about the underlying technology.  Having my gmail
auto-sync uses almost no battery at all on Android.  I can't vouch for
various IMAP clients in general though.
