Check with a lawyer.  If they are creating issues and you can prove it the contract is worthless.  Also, they should not be taking your property, like CDS etc.  Start asking for things back.  If they have remote access, tell them they need your permission from now on to access the network.  All this should be withing your rights.

  First your IT company should not have your CDs, they are yours and they should leave them with you.  That would be a red flag.  Second, if you need a Windows 7 image, let me know.  I can get you an ISO.  You won't be able to install Windows with it since you won't have a valid license key, but it works for repairs such as this.

I believe our outsourced IT company is hoarding all our Windows discs. I found this advice on askubuntu.com:

"If you have a usb thumb drive, you can use penndrivelinux from windows to make it bootable with an applicable distribution. From there you can fix it using boot-repair."

And they provided some links.

If anyone knows of a tried and true software application, let me know.
