PS--I did do a search for this, but it was a few weeks ago and this article does not look familiar, so I either missed or forgot it. Regardless, thanks again Brent. :-)

truly, it's a double-edged sword. though if it was being used in my
network, i'd probably prefer to see cryptcat or the like being used instead. do you do ProxyCommands and chaining in PuTTY?

I haven't used windows in so long (even though most distros, yes, do
have ports of PuTTY. why? i don't know.) that i don't think the proxy
section in PuTTY was even THERE when i stopped using it.
